RV Solar Installer (0 openings)

The solar installer is responsible for assisting our installation crew in all aspects of RV solar installation.  You will be working under the shop manager and assist with solar panel installation, layout/roof measurement, kit assembly and any additional tasks required to complete a successful RV solar installation.  

Job Responsibilities: 
•    Assemble all components of an RV power system
•    Electrically wire solar AC/DC systems
•    Structurally mount solar panels and electrical equipment
•    Maintain inventory of equipment for each solar installation
•    Maintain a clean work area and be willing to be involved in the general cleaning and maintenance of the entire facility
•    Maintain tools used for installation in proper working condition
•    Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work on RV rooftops
•    Must be willing and able to work in some very tight spaces
•    Build a positive rapport with colleagues and customers
•    Demonstrate strong communication skills to be able to effectively explain system functions both in person and over the phone
•    Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time

Qualifications: 
•    Previous solar installation experience preferred
•    Previous electrical experience preferred
•    A strong desire to learn about solar power
•    Be able to climb and work from a ladder
•    Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
•    Be able to lift up to 60 pounds of weight throughout the week
•    Strong attention to detail
•    A good driving record
•    Documentation skills
•    Professional appearance and client interaction
