Our 30A Inverter/Charger kits are designed for rigs that have a 30A AC service (3 Wire / L1- N -G), and that already have a 30A AC distribution panel and Shore power connection.

Our Full-Pass Kits are designed to be installed between your shore power connection and an existing AC distribution, in conjunction with a battery bank.
These kits are commonly used for replacing existing inverter/charger units or for upgrading existing inverter/charger/converter units in order to accommodate Lithium batteries.

Note: Some Keurig coffee makers are known to be incompatible with inverters. In some cases, this will just result in a loud buzzing noise while operating, and in other cases, it will result in inverter overload and failure to operate. This doesn't mean your inverter will be damaged or that trying to use your coffee maker is dangerous; however, AM Solar cannot support compatibility issues resulting from a Keurig coffee maker. We recommend doing some research and purchasing a different coffee maker if you find yours to be incompatible with your inverter system.

Multi-functional
The MultiPlus is a powerful true sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger that features adaptive charge technology and a high-speed AC transfer switch in a single enclosure. Models range from 800VA to 5000VA per module.
Unique PowerAssist feature
The MultiPlus will prevent overload of a limited AC source. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shoreside supply with power taken from the battery.
Uninterrupted AC power (UPS function)
In the event of a grid failure or shore or generator power being disconnected, the inverter within the Multiplus is automatically activated and takes over the supply to the connected loads. This happens so fast (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without disruption.
Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation
Up to 6 MPs can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Three phase or split phase operation is also possible. Please check our data sheets to see which models have paralleling, three-phase and split phase capabilities.
For instructions on updating the firmware, check out the Victron MK3-USB Interface. Victron inverters can only be programmed with a PC.

This panel is intended both for Multiplus and Quattro inverter'/chargers. It allows PowerControl and PowerAssist current limit setting for two AC sources: a generator and shore side current for example.

The VE.Bus Smart dongle is two products in one:
First of all it is the Bluetooth accessory for Victron’s range of inverter/chargers: Multiplus-I, MultiPlus-II, Quattros, and range extension of Phoenix Inverters with a VE.Bus port. When installed, use the VictronConnect App to monitor operation and also operate the system: change the input current limit as well as switch between Off, On and Charger-only modes.
Secondly it can work as a Voltage- and Temperature-sense device for the inverter/charger. This works with all models.
For monitoring, the device is a great alternative in caravans, smaller yachts and motor homes for which the Color Control GX or Cerbo GX are a step too far.
Please note that the MultiPlus or Quattro must be updated to the latest firmware in order to utilize the dongle.

The Color Control GX provides intuitive control and monitoring for all products connected to it. The list of Victron products that can be connected is endless: Inverters, Multis, Quattros, MPPT 150/70, BMV-600 series, BMV-700 series, Skylla-i, Lynx Ion and even more. This kit is not a battery monitor, but it does talk to battery monitors.

The BMV-712 is Victron's newest high precision battery monitor. The essential function of a battery monitor is to calculate ampere hours consumed and the state of charge of a battery. Compatible with all battery types. Built-in Bluetooth.

Easy start kits are typically installed on air conditioning units where the start-up surge might overwhelm an inverter. This kit also comes in a recommended Bluetooth version that allows for diagnostic feedback. Please note that the Bluetooth module does NOT allow you to control your AC unit.

Solid “Electro-Mechanical” connections are the only way to assure a continuous flow of electricity. The best way to make a solid crimp on BIG wire is with the HAMMER CRIMPER.
Clean, fray free wire ends assure the best connections. Good connections carry electricity with very little loss of “power”. And good, solid wire connections begin with a SHARP WIRE CUTTER.
Every electrical connection in an RV should be protected from corrosion by sealing the exposed wires. Heat Shrink does this. True, there are those who pull out a BIC to heat up shrink tubing, but unless you are way more experienced than lucky, then you need a TWO SPEED HEAT GUN.
