Victron Lithium Lynx Battery System with Monitor (Multiple Battery)
This kit is designed to work with 1-4 Victron lithium batteries in 12V, or 2-8 Victron lithium batteries in 24V. It uses a Lynx Distributor to combine and fuse batteries. When adding alternator charging or DC distribution, be sure to use kits specifically recommended for Victron lithium batteries. This kit is ideal for large-scale lithium installations.

The delivery of Victron batteries is more complicated than that of our other products. They must be drop-shipped from Victron, and Victron requires that shipments go to a commercial address that has either a forklift or a loading dock (one or the other is fine). If we have a registered AM Solar dealer or installer near you, we can usually ship to them with no issues. If we don't, we would need you to find a suitable commercial shipping address in your area as per the requirements above. Many such businesses are wary of liability issues with lithium shipments, so you may need to try a number of options.
Some examples would be your workplace, the workplace of a friend or family member, or a neighboring business that is open to receiving a lithium shipment on your behalf.

Add Batteries
You can have a total of four batteries in a 12V system and eight batteries in a 24V system.
-Do not mix different battery ratings in one system.
-When adding to a 12V system, only add Parallel Expansion Kits.
-When creating a 24V system, you will need an even number of batteries, and the system will be a mix of Parallel and Series Expansion Kits.
Add a Victron Lithium battery to an existing Victron lithium system. Do not mix battery ratings in the same system. Parallel Expansion kits are for 12V battery systems. 24V battery systems can be built from an equal number of Parallel and Series Expansion kits.

Add Alternator Charging
This kit is specifically designed to work with Victron lithium systems.
Enable 200A alternator charging of a Victron lithium battery system. A boost button lets your house batteries start your ignition when your starter battery is dead. This kit is ideal for van conversions and skoolies. Not for use with alternators not designed to deliver 150A to a secondary battery.
Add DC Distribution
We currently have three DC Distributions, two for Empty Shell rigs and one for 24V RVs (“RV” meaning that they already have a DC fuse block). The 6-circuit kit uses a BP65, the 12-circuit kit uses a BP100, and the 24 to 12 kit uses a single Orion 24/12-70A converter.
This kit includes everything you need to connect DC loads to a Victron Lithium battery system.
Add Solar Charging
With a Victron lithium battery system, the solar charge controller needs to interface with Battery Management system for safe charging. There are three ways this can be done.
-18ga Yellow Cable: If you have a Victron SmartSolar MPPT charge controller with a Remote port (usually 150/70 and larger) you can get away with using just an 18ga cable from the VE.Bus BMS CD port to the H port of the remote input on the charge controller. We recommend 10’.
-VE.Direct non-inverting remote on-off cable: If your Victron SmartSolar MPPT charge controller does not have a Remote port, you can use the non-inverting cable from the CD port on the VE.Bus BMS to the VE.Direct port of the charge controller. Of course, this ties up your VE.Direct port limiting remote monitoring capabilities, which brings us to the third option.
-Solar Control Kit: If your charge controller doesn’t have a CD port or a free VE.Direct port, this kit utilizes a Victron Battery Protect 65A connected to the CD port of the VE.Bus BMS as a solar charger disconnect.

This cable is used to interface a Victron SmartSolar MPPT charge controller with a Victron lithium system BMS. It is not recommended for charge controllers with a CD port or systems where a Color Control GX, Venus GX, or Cerbo GX monitor will be used.
This kit is used as a solar charge disconnect for Victron lithium battery systems. This kit would be used when charge controller does not have a CD port and when the charge controller’s VE.Direct port is not available.
Add an Inverter/Charger System
There are several rules you will need to follow when adding a Multiplus or Quattro inverter kit to a Victron lithium system.
-Remove the cable going from the load side of the shunt to the VE.Bus “Battery –” port.
-If you get one of the Multiplus or Quattro inverter kits that does not include a Victron Color Control GX, Venus GX, or Cerbo GX monitor, you will need to add an RJ45 cable to go between the VE.Bus BMS and the inverter/charger. Usually, a 1.8m cable is appropriate.
-If you want to add a Victron Color Control GX, Venus GX, or Cerbo GX monitor to an kit that is designed to use only the Digital Multicontrol, you will not need another RJ45 cable.
-Whenever Victron lithium batteries are used with a Multiplus or Quattro inverter kit you will need a Digital Multicontrol. If you are getting one of the kits designed for use with a Victron Color Control GX, Venus GX, or Cerbo GX monitor, you will need to add an RJ45 cable, and a Digital Multicontrol.
RJ45 cables come in a variety of lengths and are used to connect various Victron devices to monitors or remotes.
The Color Control GX provides intuitive control and monitoring for all products connected to it. The list of Victron products that can be connected is endless: Inverters, Multis, Quattros, MPPT 150/70, BMV-600 series, BMV-700 series, Skylla-i, Lynx Ion and even more. This kit is not a battery monitor, but it does talk to battery monitors.
This panel is intended both for Multiplus and Quattro inverter'/chargers. It allows PowerControl and PowerAssist current limit setting for two AC sources: a generator and shore side current for example.
